Chaired work group at ANSI ASC X12 that developed a cross-industry guideline for Internet EDI/XML transport.

On Board of Directors, North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB).

Represents ANSI ASC X12 on HITSP, the Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel.

Chaired the Texas Data Transport Working Group, tasked with the development of the EDI and XML transport standards for the State of Texas Energy Deregulation.

Chaired the Utility Industry Group Technology and New Ventures committee (UIG-TNV) to which the Internet EDI Working Group and the XML Working Group report.

Founding Chair/facilitator of the Ontario Energy Board’s EBT Sub Team which was responsible for XML Electronic Business Transactions (EBT) standards development for the Ontario electric utility market.  Also a member of the Ontario Energy Board's EBT Advisory Committee.

Member of the State of Arizona Process Standardization Work Group.

Member of the New York Retail Choice EDI Collaborative.

Founded and Chaired the Arizona EC/EDI Roundtable, an Arizona forum for eBusiness information, education, and networking.

Conducted seminars for DISA (Data Interchange Standards Association) and was a speaker and columnist for EDI World magazine.
