David Darnell founds Arizona EC/EDI Roundtable.

1993 - 1997

David Darnell begins extensive research in Internet EDI

David becomes recognized leader/speaker in Internet EDI standards and security, and a columnist and speaker for EDI World magazine.

Systrends begins key EDI projects for major retailers--Warner/Elektra/Atlantic, SONY Pictures.

1997 - 2000

Systrends develops and implements the first Internet EDI system in the utility industry for Salt River Project (SRP) of Arizona.  Systrends implements legacy and Internet EDI projects in utilities throughout the U.S.A.

In response to customers' outsourcing needs, Systrends launches the ECtrends Service Bureau.

David Darnell facilitates and serves as founding Chair of the Ontario Energy Board's EBT (Electronic Business Transaction) Work Group.

2000 - 2003

Systrends introduces the Systrends EBT Hub™ to utility clients in Ontario--the first processing hub to be tested and certified by the Ontario Energy Board.

Systrends provides consulting expertise on multiple deregulation projects for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).  Systrends ERCOT project serves as a model for other national and international energy jurisdictions.

Systrends develops Transaction Bridge™ software for the Texas market and as a customized solution for clients in other utility jurisdictions.

2003 - 2006

Systrends performs detailed analysis and provides consulting assistance to the Electricity Supply Board (ESB) of Ireland for the European wholesale and retail electricity deregulation markets.

Systrends develops cross-industry AS2-compliant software--Transaction Transporter T2 .  Systrends introduces Transaction TransporterT2 at the Uniform Code Council (UCC) conference/trade show.

Systrends expands the focus of Transaction Transporter T2 to include health care/medical records, and presents T2  at the WEDI (healthcare/medical records Workgroup for EDI) conference.

Transaction TransporterT2  is certified by NAESB for NAESB EDM versions 1.6 and 1.7, and is certified as "eBusinessReady" by the Drummond Group.

2006 - Present

Systrends enters into a partnership with IBM as a reseller for WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) Suite and incorporates WTX into our Transaction Transporter T2 solution.

Systrends continues to expand its Systrends EBT Hub service to additional Ontario energy retailers and distributors.

Systrends upgrades its EBT Hub spoke software to the Ontario version of Transaction Transporter - T2 ™ XMLbridge™.

In response to FERC requirements for electronic tariff reporting and NAESB standards for electronic tariff reporting, Systrends adds a T2 eTariff module to Transaction Transporter T2.
